Review about one of the Web 2.0 site
Podobo Offers Linear “Mind Mapping” for the Twitter Crowd
Podobo is a new community that lets you post your thoughts, and trail them through tag words.
Similar to Twitter, you can post a quick thought about anything that crosses your mind. All of your mini-posts will be accessible from your profile page. For the best effect, you should add as many relevant tag words as possible. From there, you can add your post, or someone else’s post, to the hoppr, where you can click on any tag word to see where it will lead you.
From the hoppr, you can also conduct other searches for individual tag words, on sites like Google, Flickr, Wikipedia, and YouTube. Other posts that have been tagged with the same keywords will show in order to give you a long list of related Podobo posts.
As far as Podobo’s network goes, there’s no way to send private messages, add friends, follow users or even posts. You can add posts to your favorite, or complain about them. While there are a handful of sites experimenting with this trail of thought, related items, and other forms of mind mapping, like TilePlex and MindMeister,
Podobo may be a bit too linear. Conducting a search in the hoppr will give you one result per tag word, which limit the amount of related items you’ll find. And as there’s little interaction you can have with these posts, a related tag word search yields little value with Podobo’s existing framework. Users should at least be able to respond to posts in order to form some circular activity throughout Podobo’s site.
Podobo is a website designed to allow you to express your random thoughts, linked by tags, to other thoughts by users all over the world. The characteristic of Podobo is about ideas and thoughts. It combines Mind mapping and Microblog. It is extensive use in the internet, besides chat room, writing diary, sharing ideas and feelings, we can also use it in finding out what people are thinking and, linking them together.
It is user friendly. Podobo can support Chinese and the outlook is attractive.
All User have their own pages, there's ours( http://www.podobo.com/)
